The woman wrote to Pope Francis, asking: \u201cWhy is this happening to me?\u201d. Also, the Pope added that \u201ca few weeks ago\u201d he had received another letter in which \u201can elderly woman, who was left alone because her son had been murdered by the Mafia\u201d, also asked \u201cwhy?\u201d, adding: \u201cI pray\u201d. And again, in yet another letter: \u201cI am raising children, I am moving forward with a family that loves God, so, why?\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #343434;\">The Pope said that \u201cat this time we do not see the fruits of these suffering people, these people who carrying the cross\u201d, just as \u201con Good Friday and Holy Saturday the fruits of the crucified Son of God, the fruits of his suffering, were not yet visible\u201d. Psalm 1 says that \u201cin all that he does, he prospers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #343434;\">What does the same Psalm say about \u201cthe wicked, for whom we think everything is fine?\u201d. Pope Francis re-read the verse: \u201cThe wicked are not so, but are like chaff which the wind drives away&#8230;. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish\u201d. In short, \u201cyou may be fine today, you may have everything, you do not care about God, you do not care about others, you exploit others: you are unjust, only thinking of yourself, not of others\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #343434;\">However, the Pope suggested, \u201cthere is one thing that Jesus said and it always comes to my mind: \u2018Tell me, what is your name?\u2019\u201d.Yes, this people does not know their name, \u201cthey have no name\u201d. The Pope recalled the parable of Lazarus, \u201cwho had nothing to eat and the dogs licked his wounds\u201d. Meanwhile, \u201cthe rich man held banquets and enjoyed himself without looking at the needs of others\u201d. The Pope noted that \u201cit is curious how this man\u2019s name is not mentioned\u201d, but instead \u201che is only identified with an adjective: a rich man\u201d. Indeed, \u201cin the book of God\u2019s remembrance, the wicked have no name: he is wicked, he an exploiter\u201d. These are the people who \u201chave no names but only adjectives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #343434;\">Instead, the Pontiff pointed out, \u201call those who try to go the way of the Lord will be with his Son, who has a name: Jesus the Saviour, a name that is difficult to understand, despite the inexplicable evidence of the Cross and all that he suffered for us\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #343434;\">Pope Francis concluded by inviting those present to think over Psalm 1: \u201cBlessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked&#8230; But his delight is in the law of the Lord\u201d. In this way, \u201ceven when you are suffering, hope in the Lord\u201d.
