First Reading –\u00a0Isaiah\u00a025<\/span><\/h4>\n

On this mountain the LORD of hosts
\nwill provide for all peoples
\nA feast of rich food and choice wines,
\njuicy, rich food and pure, choice wines.
\nOn this mountain he will destroy
\nthe veil that veils all peoples,
\nThe web that is woven over all nations;
\nhe will destroy death forever.
\nThe Lord GOD will wipe away
\nthe tears from all faces;
\nThe reproach of his people he will remove
\nfrom the whole earth; for the LORD has spoken.<\/p>\n

On that day it will be said:
\n“Behold our God, to whom we looked to save us!
\nThis is the LORD for whom we looked;
\nlet us rejoice and be glad that he has saved us!”
\nFor the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain.<\/p>\n

Gospel –\u00a0Matthew 15<\/span><\/h4>\n

At that time:
\nJesus walked by the Sea of Galilee,
\nwent up on the mountain, and sat down there.
\nGreat crowds came to him,
\nhaving with them the lame, the blind, the deformed, the mute,
\nand many others.
\nThey placed them at his feet, and he cured them.
\nThe crowds were amazed when they saw the mute speaking,
\nthe deformed made whole,
\nthe lame walking,
\nand the blind able to see,
\nand they glorified the God of Israel.<\/p>\n

Jesus summoned his disciples and said,
\n“My heart is moved with pity for the crowd,
\nfor they have been with me now for three days
\nand have nothing to eat.
\nI do not want to send them away hungry,
\nfor fear they may collapse on the way.”
\nThe disciples said to him,
\n“Where could we ever get enough bread in this deserted place
\nto satisfy such a crowd?”
\nJesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?”
\n“Seven,” they replied, “and a few fish.”
\nHe ordered the crowd to sit down on the ground.
\nThen he took the seven loaves and the fish,
\ngave thanks, broke the loaves,
\nand gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds.
\nThey all ate and were satisfied.
