Passing on the Faith

Whatever you do, do not be remiss in passing the Faith on to your children and whoever else you meet on your journey.  All our present problems are a result of parents, grandparents and great grandparents ceasing to witness to their children. Thus, we have created generations of Atheists, Agnostics and heretics.  The following scriptural quotes are very telling.  Heed them!

Passing the Faith on to the children is always the key to evangelization. Passing the Faith on to the children is always the key to changing civilizations (Jeff Cavins).

Not passing the Faith on is more of a catastrophe on future generations than the catastrophe we are now just beginning to experience in this generation.  For us, the worst is still to come since, as a nation, we have sinned and turned our back on God, denying Him as the Almighty and wanting to do our thing, our way (CCC 57).

When an individual turns his back on God committing mortal sin upon mortal sin, God will turn His back on him and deny him (Matthew 10:33); similarly, the nation (1 Corinthians 10:6,11).

But, forgiveness is just around the corner for those who repent and return, as well as the nation whose Christians raise their cries of repentance, asking for mercy.
