How many times when faced with difficulties or stress, have we begin to doubt God? When faced with trials, we being to feel helpless and question God.

The disciples of Jesus also faced similar circumstances, when Jesus was crucified and taken away from them. St. Thomas doubted that Jesus truly rose from the dead, until Jesus revealed himself to him and the disciples.

“When the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” – John 20

Jesus appeared to them in a closed room, in spite of the doors being locked. Sometimes we lock ourselves into our lives and lose trust in God, when we feel is not there for us.

But God is not deterred by our certainties and doubts, and nothing can stop him from revealing himself to us. Just like St. Thomas who believed, we must not lose faith and always trust that Jesus is waiting to reveal himself and knock the closed doors in our lives.

Have a Blessed Day!
